About JSX and how we work.
Both residential and commercial earthwork — site preparation and grading, utility trenching, foundation excavation, land clearing and demolition, and driveway or roadwork subgrade. From a single home foundation to a full subdivision pad, we scale the crew and equipment to the job.
Headquartered in Pleasant Grove, we operate across Utah County and surrounding areas including Alpine, Highland, Cedar Hills, Lindon, Bluffdale, Midway, Charleston, White City, and Granite.
Since 2002 — over two decades of excavation and site development across the Wasatch Front. That longevity is one of the reasons builders, GCs, and homeowners come back project after project.
How we quote work.
It depends on scope, soil, access, haul distance, and what is being installed. After a site walk and a look at any plans, we provide a written, itemized estimate — no guesses, no last-minute add-ons. Estimates are free.
Yes. Walkthroughs and written estimates are always free, whether you are a homeowner planning a single project or a builder pricing a development.
What to expect on the job.
Lead times shift with the season — call us with your target dig date and we will give you the honest answer. We hold dates with a written scope, not a deposit.
We always coordinate Blue Stakes locates before any dig. For permits, the GC or homeowner usually pulls them, but we will help you understand what each municipality requires — Pleasant Grove, Alpine, and Highland each have their own quirks.
Utah County soils are unpredictable. If we encounter rock, water, or fill that changes the scope, we stop, document it, and walk you through the cost impact before moving on. No surprise invoices.
Happy to talk through your dig — call or send a message and we will get back to you within one business day.
